We had this beautiful ship in our bay for just a day on Wednesday 2/16/11. It was beautiful before they put the sails up but when it left it was quite impressive under full sail. I just had to share it with all of you.

January Vacation in Costa Rica
Well this trip has been relatively problem free. We had some issues with the phone and Internet upon arrival but all those have been resolved and we have moved on to terraceing the front yard and adding a sprinkler system. Andreas has been a Godsend, he knows how to do everything we ask him and he does a fine job. I am including some pictures of the progess so far. Since this is the dry season here we will return in June or July to add plants.

Tuesday Afternoon
This morning the surf was full of pelicans diving for fish. I have never seen so many at one time. John took pictures with his camera and I will upload them when I get them off his disk.

Whales In Costa Rica
While on a fishing trip here in Costa Rica my husband took these pictures of hump back whales. Now I'm no expert but they look awful close to me.
