Christmas Countdown

The Christmas tree is up and most of the shopping is done. I have a few projects that I am scrapbooking that have to finished but I still have three weeks to finish them. I do not have the picture taken for our Christmas card so there is a good chance I will mail by Dec 15 again this year.

Side Tracked

We thought my husband had food poisoning but after three days and no improvement he went to the hospital. This is his third day there and still no answers. No food in case they have to do surgery. Talk about MR. CRANKY! I can't blame him, luckily the hospital is only a few blocks from our house so I can sneak home when he falls asleep. Everything has been put on hold until we find out what is wrong and what the doctors will do about it.
I really need to pick up catalogs and get them in the mail. I have sold so little Close to My Heart that my commissions have gone down. Oh well, it is still a wonderful product and I will get back into the swing soon.
You all take care out there and I will try to keep you all informed.

Glendale Convention

We had a great time at CKC Glendale Convention. I bought a ton of stuff and am ust now putting it all away, but not before I look at it one more time. I put together a little book from Quick Quotes yesterday, it turned out cute but I would make some changes if I make it again. It needed to be a little bit wider but the top closer is an easy and good system. It has been great playing with everything from the convention.

Three Day Crop

Whew, came home this afternoon from a three day scrapbook crop sponsored by "Scrap happy Sisters". What a great time we had! Made a new friend named Celeste, I really like her and her daughter, Kristen. All the proceeds from the crop went to the Susan B. Cancer Center. I know I have the name wrong but you know where I mean (I hope). Whatever. It was fun, fun, and more fun. Lots of prizes and food and Mary ran back and forth to the store to get us supplies we had forgotten or would take us to their store to shop. Lots of restaurants in the area too so John and Scott came by on Saturday night and took Michelle and I out to dinner.
I am hoping to get the Creatopia this week or next. I will be the most supplied scrapper there ever was! I am so looking forward to this new machine. I still have to share my pictures of Megan Marie with Michelle. We both want to make a scrapbook of her. I bought the little girl papers and a few embellishments. So much paper and so little time.
Next week end is the Glendale Convention and so I will be gone again for three days. John is already lining up a fishing trip or wave runner ride. Poor guy has been deserted by his wife.

Whale in the bay

While in town having breakfast the talk of the town is that we have had a whale in the bay for a couple of hours. We did not get home in time to see it and the ocean is rough so it is hard to recognize a spout from a white cap so I can not verify anything.
The temperature is only three degrees different from Phoenix so we have been staying under air conditioning from 10 or 11 in the morning till sunset. There have been no rains to speak of. It is most unusual weather for this time of year.
I will be adding pictures of our new little angel as soon as I get home and get some real pictures of her. I can hardly wait!

New Birth

John and I are so proud to announce we have our first "Great Grandchild" Magen was born yesterday. Mother and daughter are well. Ten fingers, ten toes and healthy. I look forward to getting to know are new addition to the family.

Packing Up

Okay the first thing to understand is that I am happiest where I am. I do not like to pack up and move. My problem is I have wonderful places to visit so the move must be made.

We have had a wonderful visit to Costa Rica this trip. I used this time to recurperate from a hysterictomy, but we had lots of visitors to keep me distracted from every little pain. I am such a baby sometimes.

I am looking forward to getting back into scrap booking. It is too humid to scrap here.

Michelle and I are going to spend the whole day Saturday September 19 with Heidi Swapp. That should get me back into scrapping PDQ. Lots of pictures to print when I get to Phoenix.
